Up for your consideration is this hard to find, vintage R. I bought this approx. 15 years ago from Bill at The New York KISS Expo in the Meadowlands NJ. This is Bills personal award from his home presented to William (Gui) Aucoin, most awards that hung in the Aucoin offices were presented to Aucoin Management but all of his gold & platinum R. Awards have this same inscription making it more of a gem. Over the years I bought several great KISS items & awards from Bill personally along with the help of his late assistant Rosemary Rotundo. I have posted some photos for reference of myself with Bill and some of the items I had bought from him. Overall the award is still in excellent condition for its age with some nicks & scratches on the frame, corners and glass. At one point the label lifted and fell away from the disc which is very common on these old awards. I cut out the back paper and reattached the label, reassembled the frame and taped the original paper backing back in place with the original NY. Picture Framing sticker in tact. I guarantee this award is 100% authentic and exactly what I claim it to be, that day I bought the entire set of 8 solo awards from Bill. Before you could only see these on TV or in the Hard Rock Café, now you can own a true piece of KISSTORY originally owned by one of the men that helped make it happen!
