Extremely rare vintage official RIAA Gold Record Award for the 1985 Sheena Easton album Do You. The award recognizes the sale of more than 500,000 copies of the album, which was issued by EMI Records. The award was presented to a former EMI executive. The award measures approx. 21″ x 17″ and was custom framed by Fitzgerald-Hartley Marketing in Los Angeles and is still housed in its original frame. Condition (please read carefully). The award is in excellent condition overall with no wear to the front/artwork side, glass or frame. There are a few very small tears to the thin black paper that covers the back of the award (see photos). The award has been stored in a smoke-free environment.
