This is a Gold Record Award “Official RIAA” for the Band Steelheart for their self titled release that came out in 1990. The Record went Gold in 1991. This Award was presented to Radio Station WIYY (98 Rock) in Baltimore, MD. I acquired this award from an employee of the radio station. Had been sitting in storage for years and the original frame and glass was damaged. I reframed the award in a nice Black frame with new glass. Slightly different that the original style frames these awards came in. This is a nice piece of Rock memorabilia and the cool thing is it’s presented to WIYY.
