This is an official RIAA Certified Gold Album Award for two Danzig albums, “Danzig” and “Thrall-Demonsweatlive”. “Thrall-” was actually a 7-track EP. The official RIAA logo is a hologram on the left side of the plaque. It measures 22″x 31″ and is in a black lacquered frame. There are two corner bumps at the top. The blemishes are on the back edges of the frame and probably will not be visible when hung or displayed. This is a one-owner. I photoshopped out the name but it is still on the award plaque and you’ll see the name when you receive this beautiful item. Producer Rick Rubin founded Def American Recordings in 1988. He changed the name to American Recordings in 1993. This has been in storage for more than 24 years.
