This is a RIAA Gold Record award for CAROLE KING “Thoroughbred”. This is the only example of this award I have ever run across. This would be the last Studio record Carole would make on the ODE Record label before moving to Capitol Records. Smaller labels like ODE usually didnt make too many awards because they simply didnt want the added expense to their budget. Probably why her awards from the early to Mid 1970’s are almost impossible to find. If you ever wanted one of her awards here’s your chance. Presented to a Record Exec.
