For sale is an authentic RIAA Gold Record Award for the Beatles album Sgt. Pepper, ” with generation 2 “R hologram which was used on RIAA awards from 1989 until 1997. It is considered one of the greatest Beatles records musically, and is also famous for its album cover design which is featured as part of this award. This award is in very nice condition with only a small ding in the bottom right corner of the black wooden frame (see the pics). The back is still sealed. It will display very nicely on any color wall with its black frame and will often times spark a discussion and/or selfie photo with any music fans that spot it even when it is next to numerous other gold records at my studio. This seems to be the one that everyone wants to see! Pepper did not go platinum until 1992, this gold award was offered up until that point to companies and those that worked on the record in production and distribution.
